Enriching Professional Development and Creating Pathways for Career Mobility

Objective 15 of “For the Public Good” describes the university’s aim to build a culture that inspires and fosters enriching learning and professional development opportunities for staff, faculty, and postdoctoral fellows. Human Resource Services (HRS) is pleased to facilitate the development of a plan to accomplish Objective 15 in collaboration and consultation with stakeholders across the university.

Sponsored by the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) and Vice-President (Finance and Administration) and directed by a steering committee, the Objective 15 Working Group will be consulting and engaging leaders, faculty, staff, and postdoctoral fellows, service providers of professional development and other key stakeholders over the next year in the development of actionable strategies and plans for accomplishing the objective.

This survey signifies the importance of making sure you have a say in how the university can support your career and help your professional growth and development. Your response will contribute to the development of an evidence-based plan and used to identify emerging themes and recommendations, which will be shared with you. All responses will be anonymous. As a bonus, participants who complete the survey can enter to win one of several prizes.
