What to do if an employee feels ill

If one of your staff, students or participants have informed you that they have tested positive for COVID-19 or are legally required to isolate AND have been on campus in the last 14 days, contact the U of A Triage Team as soon as possible. Email your name and the number where you can be reached to phrt.triage@ualberta.ca. Bookmark uab.ca/triage for this and other rapid response protocols during the pandemic.

If an employee experiences COVID-19 symptoms, advise them to complete the COVID-19 self-assessment provided by Alberta Health Services (AHS). If testing confirms a COVID-19 diagnosis, they should follow AHS’ instructions. A doctor’s note is not required.
