New updates make NASA performance reviews easier

Probationary, tenure and performance reviews

Information Services and Technology (IST) has updated one of the reports used to populate the NASA performance review form in HCM PeopleSoft. The monthly rate of pay has been added to the “Probationary, Tenure and Performance” report. You will find this information displayed right after the “NASA_Step” field on the report. This change will allow faculty and departments to use only one report when preparing performance review forms. 

Salary and benefit expenditures report

The salary and benefit expenditures report is useful to view as it provides information about the total compensation for employees that is charged to your budget. Learn how to run this report. 

This HR operational report in HCM PeopleSoft has been updated to show results for both the employee's job department and the general ledger (GL) department their payment has been distributed to. New parameters have been added to the “run control” page, allowing for the selection of GL department(s) by individual, department range, or all GL departments. 

Access to GL departments will be restricted by row-level security. This report will display all employees that are charged to the GL department regardless of the department set up on their job record. The department parameter options will provide results based on the department on an employee's job record.
