Student employment opportunity: short-term support for Congress 2021

24 February 2021

The University of Alberta is hosting the virtual 2021 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences from May 27 to June 4. Congress brings together academics, researchers, policy-makers, and practitioners to share findings, refine ideas, and build partnerships that will help shape the Canada of tomorrow.

The Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences is recruiting short-term contract workers to support the delivery of the virtual Congress. These are paid positions with an average of 35 work hours over a span of 11 days.

When not on duty, workers can attend virtual open events and network with influential professors and researchers. This is a great employment and networking opportunity for students, so please share with your networks. Applications will be accepted until March 12, 2021.
