Dr. Cheryl Barnabe
is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. She is a Faculty Member of the McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health, a Faculty Member and Co-Chair of the Group for Research with Indigenous Peoples (GRIP) with the O’Brien Institute for Public Health, and a scientist with Arthritis Research Canada.
Her research interests include health services research and Rheumatoid Arthritis, with a particular focus on characterizing and resolving inflammatory arthritis care and outcome disparities in Canada’s Indigenous populations.
Dr. Barnabe is the recipient of a CIHR New Investigator Award in Community-Based Primary Healthcare (2013) and was named one of Calgary’s Avenue Magazine Top 40 under 40 in 2015. Learn more...
