Jocelyn Andrews is the Regional Executive Officer for the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB) - Alberta Region of Health Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Nursing degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
Jocelyn has a broad perspective earned from her 22 years of diverse roles in health systems. She started her career as a front-line registered nurse in emergency, acute care, and public health, has been an educator and researcher, and held various senior management positions in provincial and federal governments.
Jocelyn is passionate about primary care and population health and quality health systems. She is committed to working with Indigenous peoples to promote innovation and transformative service delivery models for improved health outcomes and client centered care. Her research interests include blood borne pathogens and homelessness.
