The University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO), in agreement with the International Institute for Qualitative Methodology (IIQM), is pleased to present the re-imagined 20th Thinking Qualitatively Virtual Conference (TQ). TQ will be held worldwide July 5-9, 2021. The annual Thinking Qualitatively (TQ) Conference now includes activities that were previously part of IIQM’s Qualitative Methods Conference.

Thanks to our international organizing committee, the conference will include keynotes, workshops, concurrent sessions and posters by researchers worldwide, vetted and presented regionally by date. The conference will run live in different regions each day during normal working hours for that region.

Researchers across the world will be vetted by reviewers local to their region, to present in their region, but can also attend presentations internationally:

North America, July 5, 2021
Latin America, July 5, 2021
Scandanavia, July 6, 2021
England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, July 6
Europe, July 7, 2021
Africa, July 7, 2021
Australia, New Zealand, Asia, July 8, 2021
Software Training, July 9, 2021

Rates to attend will be based on current World Bank definitions for high, high middle, low-middle, and low-income countries.

From previous TQ attendees...

"Overall, the best atmosphere to new research discovery. Down to earth practical tips and mini-group works. Fantastic, humble people to meet. Come unprepared and ready to learn."

"There are interesting sessions that apply to all levels of experience and skill. The workshops are interactive and presenters are friendly and interested in helping participants improve."

"I LOVE these workshops and presentations. I found them particularly useful when I was a doctoral student. And, even as a faculty member, I learn new things at this conference."
