A SEMINAR on the University of Alberta was held at the premises of Findlay (B) Sdn Bhd in Gadong yesterday which was open to the public and covered some of the most commonly asked questions regarding further education in Canada such as costs, length of programme and admission requirements.
The Canadian university’s International Recruitment and Relations Coordinator (Asia) Guofan Hao briefed the students at the seminar.
Findlay Director Sunita Martin said she believes that the University of Alberta is an attractive destination for students as it is affordable with a world-renowned reputation, where they can also take advantage of the many employment opportunities that come from its co-op (work placement) and internship programmes.
Hao said that the University of Alberta is in the global top 100 for post-graduation employment outcomes according to the 2018 QS Employability Rankings, and for those who are focussed on their future career, it is one of the best universities to get them there.
