UAlberta offers capacity building expertise at 2019 Global Petroleum Show

    UAlberta connected with delegates from Algeria, Nigeria, and the Ukraine for a capacity building session at this year's GPS.

    On June 11, 2019 the University of Alberta International Projects team, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, led a capacity building session for international delegates from Algeria, Nigeria and Ukraine in Calgary, AB at the 2019 Global Petroleum Show. 

    During this interactive discussion, UAlberta experts discussed the unique opportunities and challenges that global partners are faced with in the extractive sector. UAlberta highlighted their experiences developing capacity within the oil/gas industry for countries such as Bolivia, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Mongolia, Peru, and Uruguay.
