International House Management Committee

At I-House, we are dedicated to the notion that I-House residents must be involved at every level of governance to create the best possible learning environment.

Therefore, the I-House Management Committee includes:

  • 4 I-House residents

  • 4 University of Alberta International representatives

  • 4 Residence Services & Ancillary Services representatives

Meetings are bi-monthly. The Management Committee addresses concerns, approves large-scale projects, and creates policy that shapes life at I-House. To date, decisions are made by an informal consensus process.
