    Application Process

    > Each faculty was assigned an allocation when the program was approved, and will select nominees for the QES Scholarships. Individual programs/departments are responsible for selecting nominees based on these quotas.
    > The faculty nominates students for the QES Scholarship by providing a Letter of Support to accompany the QES Application Form. Some faculties may choose to have an internal competition in which students are required to complete an application; students should consult their faculty on this matter.
    > Selection criteria may include academic record, letters of support, description of your study abroad plan / internship / international research, and your community engagement plan (see QES Application Form).
Upon receipt of the QES Application Form, UAI will verify eligibility, approve the award, and notify the winner directly (usually via email).

Students should contact their faculty for details about the faculty selection process and the internal faculty deadline - UAI does not determine these procedures.

Students must submit a QES Acceptance Form within 10 days of the offer being sent.

Students are also required to apply for the Education Abroad Individual Award by May 30, 2016
