Overview

Eligibility Requirements

Open to: All Faculties
Level: Undergraduate, Graduate

A cumulative GPA of at least 2.7 is required for participation in this exchange.

You must also meet the requirements for a student visa as set out by Australia's Department of Home Affairs.

Furthermore, if there will be any school-aged dependents accompanying you on the exchange then you would have to agree to pay the full set of fees for them if they are enrolled in Australian government or non-government schools.


Course Information

Language of Instruction: English

Field of Study: The only courses exchange students cannot participate in are courses offered by the School of Medicine, the Crawford School of Public Policy, and honours-level courses (4000 level courses)

ANU has very interesting internship options for exchange students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The program is called the Australian National Internships Program (ANIP) and you can make it part of your exchange experience at ANU. Exchange students to ANU must apply directly to ANIP via the online application form available on the ANIP website in addition to the regular exchange applications that must be completed for UAlberta and ANU. Applications for ANIP are open from March to April for internship placements in Semester 2 (July to November) and from August to September for internship placements in Semester 1 (February to June).
