Fudan University Summer Program Website
Fudan University, located in Shanghai, is one of the oldest and most selective universities in China, and is a member of the C9 League, Universitas 21 and Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU). It is composed of four campuses, including Handan, Fenglin, Zhangjiang, and Jiangwan.
Fudan University comprises 17 schools, 69 departments, 70 bachelor's degree programs, 243 master degree programs, 35 disciplines and 154 sub-disciplines authorized to confer Ph.D. degrees. Fudan University enrolls over 30,000 full-time students, including over 3,000 international students.
Fudan University has a high-level research faculty of over 2,700 full-time teachers and researchers, 37 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 105 special professors and lecture professors of Cheungkong Scholars Program. Fudan University has 10 teaching hospitals, such as Zhongshan Hospital and Huashan Hospital, integrating medical service, education and research. These hospitals have state-of-the-art equipment and sophisticated technology, over 900 highly qualified staff, creating a good environment for medical education.
Students who are Canadian citizens applying for this program are encouraged to apply for funding through the Canada Learning Initiative in China (CLIC) program.

The 4-week summer session offers 27 content courses taught in English, 3 Chinese language courses at different levels and 2 PE courses. While every student is supposed to take 1-3 content courses, the language and PE courses are optional. In addition, we offer historical and cultural visits so that the students can get to know more about Shanghai and China.

Education Abroad Nomination Fee: $250.00 CAD
Fudan Application Fee: 400 CNY (~$75 CAD)
Program Fee: 17,180 CNY (~$3,300 CAD)
Accommodation: ~$650 - $2000 CAD (Not required)
PROGRAM TOTAL: Approx. $4,275 - $5,625 CAD
Fees are subject to change without notice. Students will receive 10% discount for tuition from Fudan.
Students are responsible for making their own travel arrangements and for any additional costs including visa fees, medical coverage, books and supplies, food, entertainment and incidental expenses.
Fudan University Foreign Students Dormitory is located in the northwest section of the Fudan University campus. The dormitory consists of two parts: the main building and auxiliary buildings. The main building is a 23-story building consisting of both single and double rooms. The auxiliary building, total of nine units, consists of suites of four rooms with a living room.
Rooms in both the main building and the auxiliary building include the following: a balcony, air conditioning, telephone (prepaid card), and broadband network (prepaid card). The rooms in the main building have individual bathrooms. The suites in the auxiliary building have two public bathrooms.
