Overview

TusStar is the leading university science park incubator in China. Backed with immense experience in incubation services and fund investment, as well as the resources of Tsinghua Science Park, TusStar focuses on talent introduction, capital management, innovation and entrepreneurship incubation, space management, and providing resources for entrepreneurs. 

TusStar Internship Program was built in 2018 between TusStar and the University of Alberta, which currently offers internships to Chinese citizens studying at UAlberta.  Located at TusStar's incubating companies in China, and lasting between 3 to 6 months, these internships will play an essential role in students' professional development and help them develop important life and professional skills.

The Internships are available to Chinese students in diverse disciplines such as Engineering, Science, Agricultural and Life Environmental Sciences, Medicine, Business, Education, Arts, and applied programs.

Qualification of Prospective Interns

  • in their 3rd or 4th year of study
  • Good academic standing
  • Good Chinese language skills
  • Holding a Chinese passport


When Can I Go?

Terms Offered: Position start dates generally begin in January, May or September

Duration: 3 - 6 months


Salary 

Internships can be paid or unpaid. If unpaid, it is expected that the employer will provide some other type of compensation (i.e., provide transit passes, meals, accommodation).
