Overview
What the Program has to offer:
- A full year course, AUBIO/AUENV 459, that includes a two week field expedition to a private Costa Rica forest reserve during Spring Break
- Provides students with the opportunity to design and conduct their own field project related to the assessment of biological diversity or ecological studies of target species for conservation
- Additional opportunities include: Becoming acquainted with processes involved in preparation for field research, analyzing data results, and disseminating findings directly with reserve owners and at the Augustana Winter Student Academic Conference

Dates & Duration: Approximately 10 days in Costa Rica with pre/co req in Fall and Winter terms
