Alberta’s future economic and social prosperity requires Albertans who are keen and able to engage successfully in their local and global communities. In today’s global economy, students with an education abroad can apply their diverse perspectives, expanded knowledge, and enriched learning experiences to help make Alberta stronger.
I obtained my Master of Science degree in applied environmental geosciences from Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen in Germany. My education abroad enabled me to understand and appreciate the importance of being open to global opportunities and discussing different ideas with new people. I believe international experiences enable students to attain global competencies which will help them and the organizations they work for navigate and succeed in today’s interconnected world.
