Rachel Zukiwski-Pezim, Program Coordinator

Rachel Zukiwski (she/her) is Edmonton-born but Nova Scotia-raised. She moved back to her hometown in 2012 to work full-time at a University of Alberta communications shop. In February 2020, she enthusiastically joined the Intersections of Gender team. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University in Spanish and Latin American Studies and is currently enrolled, part-time, in the Gender and Social Justice MA program at UAlberta. Her research interests are extensive and include feminist historiography under a colonial/postcolonial context. Despite her knack for creative writing, Rachel owns a tiny cat with the totally unoriginal name of Kitty who is just awful but to make up for it, doesn’t help out with the rent at all.
