Institute for Sexual Minority Studies & Services

Through our research at iSMSS, we are committed to work with communities and stakeholders to build a more inclusive, diverse, and respectful society. All of our programs are evidence-informed and designed to help sexual and gender minority youth to grow into healthy, happy, and resilient adults. By bringing together research, teaching, service, and community outreach into dynamic synergy, we are able to create and support innovative and award-winning programs like Camp fYrefly, Family Resilience Project, Queer History Project, and our Professional Development services.

"A Family's Journey" aired on CTV News June 17 & 18, 2013.
