1. fYrefly in Schools Coordinator

Reporting to both the Education Coordinator and Manager of Programs and Services at the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), the fYrefly in Schools Education Facilitator supports the program delivery of fYrefly in Schools (FINS) in Edmonton and area. fYrefly in Schools is an iSMSS educational initiative developed to help reduce discrimination against sexual and gender minority youth, increase awareness of the impacts of homo/bi/transphobia, and equip students with the tools they need to become effective allies for diveristy, equity, and human rights within their schools and communities. 2. Where the Rivers Meet Program Coordinator
Where the Rivers Meet is a program that is grounded in ceremony and the celebration of two-spirit people and their multiple identities. In order to keep the program in alignment with its ceremonial roots the core mandates are as follows: inter-community healing, responsible stewardship, and responsibility to the teachings of the land.
Reporting to the iSMSS Manager of Programs and Services, the Where the Rivers Meet Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Where the Rivers Meet (WTRM) program in K-12 schools, community organizations, (Edmonton/Calgary) and rural indigenous communities across Alberta, as well as facilitating the assessment process related to WTRM programming. The WTRM Program Coordinator will also plan, coordinate, and deliver workshops for staff and students on campus, at other post-secondary institutions, and for other community groups.
