60th Annual Turkey Trot

Join the University of Alberta and Campus & Community Recreation for the Annual Turkey Trot, a pre-Thanksgiving run to raise funds and awareness for the United Way and Campus Food Bank!

The Turkey Trot is a fun run that is customarily held around Thanksgiving and sees vast participation throughout Canada and the United States. Many organizations hold Turkey Trot events a week or two prior to Thanksgiving in order to raise funds for local charities and provide festive holiday meals to homeless or low-income families in the community.

The University of Alberta Turkey Trot traditionally attracts between 500 and 600 U of A Students, Staff, Faculty, Alumni and Edmonton community - this event is open to EVERYONE!

This year we are supporting the United Way and Campus Food Bank. Be sure to register prior to September 1st to guarantee a t-shirt. Event activities include a Fun Fair and prizes to be won!
