Student Recognition

Dong-Woo Kang: Korean Canadian Graduate Scholarship. Research topic: Exercise During Active Surveillance for Prostate Cancer: The ERASE Trial. The aim of the ERASE Trial is to investigate the effects of exercise on tumour growth and fear of cancer progression in men with prostate cancer who are not receiving treatments.

Helene Jørgensen: 2018 Alberta Graduate Citizenship Award for demonstrating outstanding dedication and leadership to fellow students and to their community.

Cristian Kasinski (aquatics staff): University of Alberta Concerto Competition 2018 - First Place. Cristian has won the opportunity to perform a Concerto with the University Symphony Orchestra as a featured soloist at the Winspear Centre on April 5, 2019.
