Undergraduate Student Advising

Student Advising Header

The Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation has a strong group of student advisors who support students from the moment they apply to the day they graduate. During your time as a Faculty student, you will be assigned an advisor to who will provide a supportive, confidential environment to help you:

  • Clarify education and career goals
  • Explore programs within the Faculty
  • Navigate from first year through to graduation
  • Connect to additional resources on campus

Students are responsible for:

  • Registering in courses and building their own schedules
  • Understanding degree and program requirements as specified by the U of A Calendar
  • Accessing additional student resources when required
  • Taking responsibility for their academic, career and personal goals

Before you meet with your advisor:

  • Make a list of questions you want to ask
  • Explore the U of A Calendar and our website for information pertaining to your questions
  • If you would prefer to email your questions rather than book an appointment, please contact your assigned advisor:
