Maidan Exhibit at the Rutherford Library, University of Alberta

The Kule Folklore Centre, University of Alberta is proud to host the recreated exhibit "Maidan - Through Patience To Hope". This exhibit captures the protests and changes in Ukraine this last winter and brings to life the quotes and feelings of people who experienced this event. The exhibit will be displayed until October 12, 2014 in the Galleria Atrium of Rutherford Library, University of Alberta.

The Kule Folklore Centre, University of Alberta is proud to host the recreated exhibit "Maidan: Through Patience To Hope". This exhibit captures the protests and changes in Ukraine this last winter and brings to life the quotes and feelings of people who experienced this event.

This exhibit was originally displayed at the Rimini Meeting Festival in Italy during the summer of 2014. UofA graduate student Natalia Bezborodova spoke at the festival and made arrangements to recreate the exhibit together with the original authors - Oleksandr Filonenko, Anastasia Zolotova, Oleksiy Chekal, and Oleksiy Sigov - through the Kule Folklore Centre.

The exhibit will be displayed until October 12, 2014 in the Galleria Atrium of Rutherford Library. The Galleria Atrium is open:

Monday-Thursday: 8 am - 12 am (midnight)
Friday: 8 am - 6 pm
Saturday: 11 am - 6 pm
Sunday: 11 am - 9 pm
