This presentation is a part of the anthropology of war and violence research project. It is based on the examination and analysis of Ukrainian social media dealing with the painful topics of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine War.

Maryna Hrymych is a Ukrainian scholar, writer and diplomate. She has published 20 books, including scholarly monographs, nonfiction (biographies, travelogues), and fiction (novels). As an ethnographer and fieldworker, she conducted her research in Ukraine, Canada, Brazil, and Middle East.
