Land-based Learning in Teetl'it Zheh: A University-First Nation Bush Camp Partnership

Developed in collaboration with Teetl’it Gwich’in First Nation, this cluster connects community knowledge holders and university researchers to explore Gwich’in land-based knowledge skills in bush camp life, Gwich’in governance processes, and intergenerational knowledge transmission. It will develop curricular and intellectual resources to establish a permanent community bush camp school near Teetl’it Zheh (Fort McPherson, NWT) and in support of other land-based learning projects for future external grants.
