Sustainable Agriculture

On October 29th, KIAS Research Cluster winner Dr Gordon Gow presented the Kule Dialogue on his 2011 KIAS-funded research. The University of Alberta is playing a lead role in bringing together a small team of researchers from Canada and Sri Lanka to explore how low cost, ubiquitous information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) can contribute to food security objectives in developing countries by enhancing or cultivating local agricultural communities of practice. Team members showcased the work that has been accomplished and highlighted what is to come in this ground-breaking project.
