UAlberta Law is one of Canada's top law schools, and western Canada’s oldest. Our alumni includes the former Supreme Court of Canada Chief Justice, three provincial chief justices, numerous political and business leaders and a vast number of accomplished lawyers and legal scholars.
My focus as Dean of Law is to preserve the best of our past while preparing students for a challenging future in a dynamic profession.
Our students are a diverse group. The entering class this year ranges in age from 20 to 40 and include scientists, athletes, historians, musicians and engineers, with one common denominator: excellence.
Our students also come from a range of financial backgrounds, and we make it a priority to help lower financial barriers to a law school education by offering more than $1 million in scholarships and financial bursaries.
We look forward to helping you explore UAlberta Law.
