  • Enrolled initially in Physical Education at the University of Alberta he changed to the Arts Faculty and pursued a Bachelor of Arts Degree and then a Law Degree
  • 1963 Admitted to the Bar of Alberta
  • First male black lawyer to be admitted to the Bar in Alberta
  • Practised as a Crown Prosecutor
  • Appointed a provincial Judge to the Provincial Court of Alberta
  • First black Graduate of University of Alberta Law to be appointed a judge
