Amy Zarzeczny is an Assistant Professor at the University of Regina's Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy (JSGS) where she teaches courses in Health Policy and Health Law and Policy. Zarzeczny holds a Master of Laws with distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a Bachelor of Laws with distinction from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with distinction also from the University of Alberta. Prior to beginning her graduate studies at LSE, Zarzeczny clerked for the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench and Court of Appeal and subsequently practiced law at Reynolds Mirth Richards & Farmer LLP in Edmonton. From 2008-2011 Zarzeczny held an Academic Trust appointment as a Research Associate and Project Manager at the University of Alberta's Health Law Institute where she had the opportunity to work closely with Professor Timothy Caulfield and his team on a number of research projects. Zarzeczny's research agenda focuses on emerging issues in health law and policy and she looks forward to on-going collaboration with Professor Caulfield and the Health Law Institute.
