Marianne Clark is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Healthy Living and Chronic Disease Prevention and the School of Health and Exercise Sciences at UBC, Okanagan. She received her PhD in 2014 from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation, where she studied interdisciplinary perspectives on girls' and women's health, advanced qualitative research methods, and social theory. Her research examines gender, social inequality & health, and the role of the media in shaping health beliefs.
