Adjunct Professor: Dr. William Arnal
The Program in Religious Studies is delighted to add Professor William (Bill) Arnal of the University of Regina to its list of adjunct professors. Professor Arnal brings expertise in early Christianity, ancient languages, and method and theory in support of the growing interest in Early Christian Studies among PhD students. Professor Arnal will join Vaia Touna's supervisory committee. In his own words, Bill's research "focuses on theoretical issues in Religious Studies, on ancient Christianity and on the historiography of ancient Christianity. Published work includes discussions of definitions of religion and their theoretical ramifications, the politics of Religious Studies, and implicit apologetic motifs in New Testament scholarship."
