In my personal capacity, I am honoured to serve as the Associate Dean of this office. I transitioned my early career in basic science (physiology) (MSc University of Ottawa; PhD, University of Calgary) to medicine at the University of Alberta, where I am continually impressed by the caliber, dedication and contributions of our basic science and clinical medicine colleagues. Through this office, I would like to build on connections and partnerships between our members and departments.

Faculty Development is here to serve you, please stay connected with us, and let us assist in enhancing your competencies, the necessary recognition for your contributions and achievement, and your career fulfillment.

Yours sincerely,

Mia E. Lang, MD, PhD, FAAP, FRCPC
