FEC Standards

The Faculty Evaluation Committee Standards document can be accessed here

Each Faculty has its own Faculty Evaluation Committee Standards:
All follow the Faculty Agreement
Assesses academic activity in reporting period July 1 – June 30
Used for annual assessment of merit
Used at distinct career junctures:
Tenure & Promotion (mandatory)
Associate to Full Professor (optional)
Sabbaticals (optional)
Emeritus Professor (optional)
Current FEC Guidelines are > 10 years old
New FoMD FEC Standards approved November 2017:
Effective with next academic reporting cycle: July 1 2018 – June 30, 2019
Applied for the first time at FEC in November 2019

Annual Report Online (ARO) Update:

Six ARO Updates 

1. MedSIS evaluations have been imported.

2. Automatic import of publications by Scopus is now available.

3. Teaching Dossier reports are available under the Reporting Section (Download as a Word doc to edit).

4. Adjustment to allocated half-days for fractional FTE has been done.

5. Narrated PowerPoint Help presentations are available at this link for topics on: 

a. Overview of the ARO

b. Teaching section

c. Research section

6. Graduate student supervision is allocated to the non-classroom section of the Teaching Domain (this was changed from classroom).
