Kim Taylor, BA
A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, Kim’s advancement career spans over 30 years of front-line fundraising, campaign management & consulting at post-secondary institutions including the University of Alberta, Lethbridge College, University of Regina, University of Manitoba, and St. Mary’s College.
Kim led the campaign & fundraising program at STARS Air Rescue Edmonton, one of Canada’s most successful fundraising organizations. Her fundraising career includes experience in health care, education, religion and social services, giving her a broad spectrum upon which to draw. Her successful leadership of teams has helped win significant financial gains in campaigns.
Kim has spoken to conferences on the major gift process; moves management; interpreting feasibility study results; recruitment & retention of staff; research & strategic planning & the marketing of campaigns, including building relationships with alumni.
Kim is committed to the evolution of the fundraising profession & has made a positive impact with a number of organizations in many capacities, including President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Edmonton; International Delegate with AFP; Director with the AFP Canadian Foundation, & as a committee member for the Regina & Saskatoon Chapters of AFP. She continues to mentor fundraising professionals in the belief that a healthy fundraising community benefits everyone.
