About Me

I completed an undergraduate degree with specialization in chemistry from the University of Alberta in 2003.  I went on to complete my MD at the University of Alberta, graduating in 2007.  I completed my residency in radiation oncology in 2012, and went on to do a fellowship in brachytherapy and intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT) under Dr. Louis Harrison at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, which I finished in 2013.  I have been working at the Cross Cancer Institute since July 2013.

I serve as the residency program director for the radiation oncology program at the University of Alberta, and as the radiation oncology clinical educator for the radiation therapy degree program at the University of Alberta.

I am interested in collaborating with other disciplines in delivery of novel educational sessions.  We have recently trialed a simulation with radiation oncology residents, medical physics residents, and radiation therapy students.
