I combine my love of clinical care and medical education with on-site clinical instruction and supervision of trainees at the University of Alberta Hospital. In addition to helping trainees develop clinical competency, I provide them with mentoring in several important areas. These include how to balance a demanding clinical practice and family life, and to work and communicate effectively with other health professionals on a care team, patients and their families.
