Sharing knowledge with trainees is an important aspect of medicine that I enjoy and find challenging. When I was training in cardiology, I had some excellent teachers who put in tremendous hours. I feel that I owe it to students to help them achieve their best. When I see them a few years later, on my wards, they have the training and understanding of patient-centred care to do well.
