Dear colleagues,

The Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry is pleased to announce the awardees of the 2018 University Hospital Foundation Medical Research Competition (UHFMRC). See the awardees and their research projects listed here.

This competition provides one-year research project grants of up to $35,000 to fund innovative, translational research in the FoMD. This year we were able to support 14 of the 51 applications received. Seven of the projects will be led by early investigators. Thank you to the UHFMRC Review Committee for their commitment in reviewing these applications.

Finally, a big thank you to the University Hospital Foundation for their continued support of this program.

Sincerely,

Carol Ladner-Keay

Acting Director of Clinical Research
