Development of WCHRI Research Laboratories

Centre for Neuroscience - 13 April 2012

The Women and Children's Health Research Institute (WCHRI) has established a new, state-of-the-art, wet-laboratory research facility on the 3rd floor of the Katz Building. There is room to recruit 3-4 additional primary investigators. Existing research themes include neuroscience, cardiovascular and pulmonary physiology and oncology. While a priority will be given to attracting recruits with research interests that complement existing themes, excellent candidates with a clear translational research program in any area relevant to women and children's health are encouraged to apply.

The team is seeking junior or mid-career investigators with a strong potential for establishing externally-funded research programs and working in a collaborative group environment. They are currently soliciting suggestions for potential recruits and welcome all input. Please submit names (and curriculum vitae) to Deb Key, Administrative Assistant to Dr. Sandy Davidge, Director, WCHRI (dkey@ualberta.ca).
