The Teaching Scholars Program – International (TSP-I) is an exciting new program that offers high quality professional development for your medical school faculty and residents.

  • TSP-I is built upon the strong international reputations of the University of Alberta and the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.The University of Alberta was ranked as one of the top 100 universities in the world. The Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry was ranked number 76 in the world for clinical medicine. [1]
  • TSP – I offers highly experienced leadership. Dr. Hodgson, the Director of TSP–I has more than 25 years of experience in professional development.She has taught at highly respected institutions: UCLA; University of California, San Francisco; University of Colorado, Denver; the Association of American Medical Colleges; along with teaching numerous workshops at international conferences.
  • TSP-I offers a flexible, high quality, cost effective professional development program that can be completed at home requiring little or no travel; therefore, the overall cost of the program is less and there is less inconvenience of being away from home.
