Overview:	Shadowing opportunities (full day or half day) are available in the Department of Medical Genetics. The student will be able to shadow one or two clinicians and observe their clinics. The clinics may involve general genetics, prenatal genetics, cancer genetics, genetic counselor cases, metabolic genetics and neurogenetics.
Objectives:	Understand the role of Medical Genetics in a patient's care Understand and apply basic history and physical examination skills Understand basics of a clinical patient encounter
