Career Planning

Career Planning

The Career Planning Committee is dedicated to assisting undergraduate medical students in their future career choices.

Career planning is designed to facilitate the decision-making process by providing information and support, and decreasing the stress associated with choosing a career.

Career planning involves several services and sessions across all four years of the program, including career advising meetings, CaRMs application support, annual Residency fairs, and lectures on topics such as electives and CV writing.

For more information related to Career Planning, including this year's Residency Fair check out the Office of Advocacy and Wellbeing

The Office of Advocacy & Wellbeing in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta looks after issues pertaining to the health and well-being of learners & faculty. The office also advocates on their behalf.
