The ONEcard is the identification card at the University of Alberta. All staff, faculty, students, and postgraduate learners are eligible for a ONEcard. To claim the card, postgraduate learners must provide photo identification and their student ID number.
ONEcards are more than a form of ID at the U of A:
- They provide access to the library systems.
- They act as proof of enrolment for those trying to access campus recreation facilities.
- They manage printing and photocopying credits.
- They are also used as debit cards for food and bookstore purchases at select retailers throughout campus.
Production of ONEcards will take place at resident orientation. If any students are unable to collect their ONEcard at this time, they can visit the ONEcard Office at a later date. The ONEcard office is located in HUB Mall, room 9104.
More information can be found on the ONEcard website.
