The FoMD Workshop provides the following services:
- Fabrication & Machining: acrylics, acetal, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, Teflon, and other similar materials
- Repair: electronic issues, mechanical issues, equipment such as biosafety cabinets, incubators, ice machines, power supplies, and all lab equipment
- Welding
- Woodworking
- Miscellaneous: installing shelves, rearranging furniture, hanging whiteboards/corkboards, etc

Hours of operation:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Fees:
- University of Alberta Users: $75/hour plus the cost of materials
- External Users - Academic and Research Hospitals: $97.50/hour plus the cost of materials
- External Users - Corporate: $195/hour plus the cost of materials
