Jérémie Pelletier-Gagnon awarded a two-year postdoc at UQAM

Jérémie Pelletier-Gagnon, who recently defended his dissertation "Playing in Public: Situated Play at the Intersection of Software, Cabinet and Space in Japanese Game Centres", is now at l'UQAM on a two-year postdoc funded by Le Fonds de recherche du Québec - Société et culture (FRQSC). Jérémie will be working with Dr. Maude Bonenfant and the research group Homo Ludens on communication in video games. His project will explore the potential of the use of big data tools and methodologies for quantitative analysis in the context of research on video games and their related practices in the humanities.
