The U of A Botanic Garden Herbarium is a systematically arranged reference collection of dried plants from the University of Alberta Botanic Garden in Devon, Alberta, an exceptional regional resource and repository for living plants. Based on the living collection, the herbarium holds an extensive range of preserved local and internationally-collected specimens of ecological, horticultural, botanical, medicinal and historical importance. It is a valuable resource for plant information and identification and is used by students, researchers and the public.
As the University of Alberta is enacting additional safety measures regarding the state of public health emergency in Alberta, all museum collections will be closed until further notice.
