Our venues are available for performances, rehearsals, meetings, conferences and weddings, when they are not required for our own classes and events. Please note that staffing and technical costs are in addition to rental rates and will be discussed prior to finalizing your booking.

General Availability & Restrictions
External bookings, such as wedding ceremonies or corporate events, can be made during the Spring and Summer semesters only (May through August).
Due to the high volume of Department of Music productions held during peak performance periods, external bookings are restricted from November through mid-December and from March through mid-April, during any calendar year. Thank you for your understanding.
For other external events held by the University of Alberta, bookings can be made during the regular Fall and Winter terms, however such bookings are also subject to the aforementioned blackout periods to accommodate Music's peak performance schedule.
The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) collects dues associated to various live music performance and broadcast situations. Once collected, fees are distributed to the creators and owners of original musical works. Payment of SOCAN fees is the responsibility of the renter.
