The Department of Music is pleased to announce the results of our 2013 Concerto Competition. Players from both the Wind Ensemble and University Symphony Orchestra took part in this year's competition. Congratulations to the following students on their outstanding performances this week:
- Congratulations to Taran Plamondon (French horn, in Strauss' first concerto)
- Augustin Nguyen (Alto Saxophone, in Larsson's Concerto with strings)
The two award winners will appear in concert in early 2016. Taran will perform with the Wind Ensemble (date and venue TBD) and Augustin with the University Orchestra on April 3rd, 2016, at the Winspear Centre.
