The U of A's Department of Music Presents The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra's Low Brass in Concert

Come experience the talent of select ESO members for a unique performance taking place in Convocation Hall!

Kimberly Bricker - 02 June 2017

These talented brass musicians will be showcasing their musicianship with an array of classical pieces. This concert will feature French composers, such as Debussy, Fauré and Tomasi. The compositions have been selected from the modern era, highlighting an impressionistic style characteristic of the genre. Prepare yourself for an evening of beautifully low melodies.

This will also feature a special performance of Malcolm Forsyth's Eclectic Arts. Forsyth was both a member of the ESO and a professor of music and composition at the University of Alberta. Please join us on Friday, June 9th at 7:30 PM at Convocation Hall as we begin a summer of fantastic musical events!

Event Tickets are only $10 and are free for students! Tickets can be purchased at the door.
