For their first concert of the season, The Edmonton Chamber Music Society will be featuring 26-year-old Uzbekeistani pianist, Behzod Abduraimov. Behzod is an extremely accomplished pianist, having won numerous awards in less than a decade, and been declared as "master of all he surveys" by the New York Times (2014).
This concert will also feature Jacob Kryger, the winner of the ECMS scholarship. Jacob is a percussionist and a member of the Music Department here at the U of A. His pre-concert will begin at 6:45 and we'd love it if you would come out and support this talented musician.
Student tickets for this event are only $15. However, if students wish to come in groups of 5 or more, discounted tickets are available at $10 a ticket. Any student who wishes to take advantage of this amazing deal needs to contact Verna Quon (vquon@icloud.com)
